In this webcast, you'll learn how to navigate these complexities. This program will walk through the employee life cycle examining regulatory considerations and best practices for staying compliant.About the Presenters:
Shari Simpson, SHRM-SCP, has more than 13 years of experience as an HR professional in the areas of training and development, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations and talent acquisition. She has served in a variety of industries, including healthcare, local government, real estate, consumer goods and technology. Simpson collaborates with managers and senior executives to build partnerships and create innovative strategies that drive results. In her current role, she creates and manages organization-wide HR programs for Paylocity. She also hosts the podcast PCTY Talks, which focuses on helping elevate HR, payroll and business professionals’ impact on their business by sharing new and progressive ideas in thought leadership and tackling today’s tough relevant topics.
Corinne Tirone is the director of government relations at Paylocity. She is an attorney with more than 10 years of experience in legal research, payroll and HR compliance. Tirone's focus at Paylocity entails monitoring the legislative landscape at the federal, state and local levels to help inform the organization’s development projects, compliance strategy and risk mitigation plans. She serves on the board of the National Payroll Reporting Consortium and leverages strong relationships with agencies and industry groups to stay informed of regulatory trends and changing compliance requirements.
SHRM Certification has approved this webcast for 1 PDC toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification. A program code will be provided at the end of the webcast. The program also meets recertification credit standards set by the HR Certification Institute and other HR certifying bodies, but candidates must manually enter their activity into their records.
