Generations in the Workplace

Within our organizations today, we are seeing all four generations represented.  The reality is every member of a generation is not the same.

While external events may have shaped the way we view the world, the cultural references we use and the technology we¹re comfortable with; our individual experiences and values shape us far more strongly.  This can be exciting and it be challenging in a workplace.  It¹s important to focus on the characteristics and behaviors that create productive working relationships and how those may be shaped by generational experiences. In our discussion about ³Generational Differences² an attendee will:

• Raise awareness of the characteristics and influencers of the different generations
• Identify strategies for building more positive working relationships
• Create better multi-generation team collaborations and effectiveness

With the application of these objectives, participants will understand and appreciate the differences and develop better work teams.
